About Me

Welcome to my website! I am Yikuan Ji, a Ph.D. candidate in Agricultural and Resource Economics at University of Maryland, College Park. My research interests lie at the intersection of transportation economics, energy economics, and environmental economics. My current research primarily focuses on the distributional effects of the congestion charge policy in New York City.

Prior to my doctoral studies, I earned my Master of Science in Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University and a Bachelor's degree in Public Economics from Fudan University, graduating with distinction. My academic journey has taken me from Shanghai to Honolulu, Ithaca, and now Maryland, enriching my perspective on urban transportation economics, with future plans to expand my research into broader economic issues.
