Yikuan Ji (冀一宽)

About Me

Welcome to my website! I am a Lecturer/Assistant Professor in the School of Applied Economics at Renmin University of China, affiliated with the Research Institute of Regional and Urban Economics. My research interests lie at the intersection of transportation, urban and regional, energy, and environmental economics.

I received my Ph.D. in Agricultural and Resource Economics from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2026. My research examines how transportation infrastructure and public policies affect travel behavior, traffic congestion, urban development, and economic welfare. My current research focuses on travel mode choice and the distributional effects of congestion pricing in New York City.

Prior to my doctoral studies, I earned a Master of Science in Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University and a bachelor's degree in Public Economics from Fudan University, where I graduated with distinction.
